For years, the Annual Soupfest has been about coming together to empower youth, creating a fun, local, culinary experience.  Soupfest is the major annual fundraiser for Living Rock Youth Centre, non-profit in Hamilton.  Living Rock has been supporting youth since 1985.  Proceeds generated through Soupfest are directed to programs and resources offered to support underserved youth.  Living Rock offers a place of belonging, safety, and a bridge to the community while supporting youth to develop a personal vision for their lives.

Soupfest takes place Tuesday February 27th at the Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen’s at 1 Summers Lane downtown Hamilton.  Each $20 ticket provides 4 x 4 oz bowls of the soup from any of the participating restaurants between the hours of 11:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Community supporters of all ages will enjoy the variety of soups and help vote for “Best Soup”, “Most Creative Soup”, “Best Display” and “Tastiest Heart Smart”.  There will also be a distinguished Tasting Panel who will blind taste all of the soups to determine their favourites.

Soupfest tickets can be purchased in person or online at www.livingrock.ca.  For more information contact Living Rock at 905-528-ROCK (7625) or julie@livingrock.ca.
